Meet Sadie & Patchouli
A friend contacted Brenda on behalf of Toronto Animal Services East Division who needed a suitable place to house two young goats who had been found in someone’s driveway in Scarborough.
We agreed that WWS could foster the goats since it was an urgent situation and that the possibility of them staying permanently could be considered later.
Sadie and Patchouli arrived at Wishing Well on February 6, 2016. To the best of our knowledge they are both African pygmy goats, about 10 months old when they arrived. They are both female. No one ever made a claim for them at TAS.
On April 12, 2016 it was discovered that Sadie was pregnant. The WWS board decided that Patchouli, Sadie and all the babies will stay at WWS and live happily ever after.
