Hector is our special broad-breasted turkey, and he is approximately over a year old. He was found wandering a subdivision around the Thanksgiving weekend of 2021. He is our bright and shining star of the sanctuary, with so much personality and character. You will always find him right by your side, no matter what.

The brown goat is Jinx, and he was brought to us by the SPCA. He is the sanctuary's first goat and the last of the four original goats we had. He is approximately 10 years old. Jinxy is an old soul and still such a silly boy who loves basking in the sun and giving us his toothy smile.
Buddy is the multi-colored pigmy goat that we found for Jinx when we lost his sister last year, so he could still have a goat sibling in his life. He is about 2 years old and will never pass up the chance to start chewing on your clothing or head-butt whenever he gets the chance. Jinx was very sad after losing the last sibling of his original goat pack family, but Buddy brought new life to him and all of us.

Winston is one of 5 big pigs we have, and he is approximately 10 years old. He came to Wishing Well about 9 years ago with his brother Maurice, whom we sadly lost. Our boy Winston is the biggest of our big pigs and yet the sweetest of souls. You can lay with this boy in the sun just like you would with your puppy dog. He is always up for snuggles and snorts back at you in appreciation.
He is one of our more costly residents as he has severe arthritis and is given daily natural supplements to ease his pain, and he is worth every penny.

Thunder the Llapaca is approximately 4 years old. We believe he is a mix of a llama and an alpaca for many reasons, but mainly because he is quite a bit smaller than most male llamas. We rescued Thunder in March 2021 from a very bad neglect situation, and it took him about a year to come around and allow us to be able to pet him and truly let us in and know that he is now safe.
His name's sake comes from our beloved Lightning, our precious llama here. This boy is now full of sniffy kisses and is always so curious. We decided to rescue 2 female alpaca friends for him this summer, and he has really taken on the role of guardian for them and our flock of sheep, who all reside together in the same paddock.

Norman is approximately 11 years old, and he is the puppy dog of the herd. He had a rough start to life, but you wouldn’t know it by the trust and complete calmness he possesses now at our sanctuary. You never worry about his size when around him, as he is so gentle and always ready to receive and give love.

This guy is so special that he has 2 names, depending on who you ask. This silly boy came to us in the spring of 2021, looks like he was born a barn cat and began coming around looking for food, and he got a whole lot more. When he began to trust us, we fully vetted him and he joined his brother Tommy, our other sanctuary cat, in our cat condo to be safe at night.
We have never quite seen a feline like this boy, he can run straight up a tree and right back down, he even does this to humans. He is full of love and brings us so much laughter with his crazy ways.

Wilbur (aka Wilby) is approximately 10 years old and was our first potbellied pig at the sanctuary. Wilby says it’s his sanctuary, but he will share it with his sisters and brothers. Our boy is showing signs of aging but is getting the best natural supplements to ease his aches and pains.
We only have 1 female Potbelly, Lily, and she has her own suite to sleep in at night because her brothers can bully her, so we chose Wilbur to snuggle with at night, and they are quite the pair.
Wilbur is the sweetest boy and gently takes his treats by the hand. He is also at the top of the pecking order of the pack, and his brothers all respect him.

Petunia was found in a shopping mall parking lot as a baby piglet. It seems she was not in the agricultural industry, as she still has her tail. She makes the most unique sounds and has the most beautiful golden eyes.

We have 6 sheep at our sanctuary. All of them were saved from slaughter, and they show us every day how much they are grateful for that.
Pictured is Angel. He is the most affectionate of all the sheep. The rest are named Marbles, Liberty, Sage, Willow, and Biscuit. 3 girls and 3 boys!

Sublime is the white alpaca and Patience is the brown one. They are 12 and 15, and the average life span of camelids is 20 to 25 years. They lived a life together with a lovely woman who needed to retire in her later years and wanted them to have a beautiful life at a sanctuary.
Sublime has become very smitten with our llapaca, Thunder, and we think they make a very cute couple!
